Technology description
A layer depalletising system uses a dedicated gripping device to lift all the products making up the layer at the same time and transfer it onto a case singulation line or onto an order pallet.
Trascar's anthropomorphic robots are equipped with gripping systems (grippers and vacuum) and combine precision, speed and operational intelligence to handle even the most complex configurations efficiently, often integrated with machine-vision systems.
Layer depalletising is often integrated with automatic conveying systems, buffers and automated warehouses to continuously feed order-composition logistics.
At the same time as the depalletising cycle, the following functions are performed:
- automatic identification of the case code,
- physical orientation of the case to optimise downstream intralogistics,
- selection of the delivery points according to the routing logic.
