Overview
WonderPick is the Goods to Person system that revolutionises shipment-preparation work. It consists of a vertical automatic buffer for totes and/or trays, automated through the use of independent robots (iBOT). It is the highest-performing GTP system compared with other technologies such as multi-shuttle, miniload and cubic storage.
WonderPick comes in two standard models: single depth and double depth.

System characteristics
Simple balancing
System balancing is very simple, as all the iBOTs are able to pick and deposit the cases at every location in the aisle.
High reliability
The system's reliability is very high, as it can operate even with some iBOTs under maintenance, and there are no bottlenecks (lifts) for moving vehicles or load units between levels.
High scalability
The system's scalability is high, as it is possible to add or remove iBOTs according to the performance you wish to achieve.
High availability
The system's availability is high, as iBOT maintenance can be carried out off-line from production.
High capacity
The system's capacity is high, as the handling aisle is very narrow and the arrangement of the cases is intensive.
Intelligent management
It autonomously manages the choice of storage location, implementing the following logics: distribution of products across aisles, use of ABC product-rotation classes, distribution of empty totes across aisles, and workload balancing across the various storage aisles.
